Well got a bit further today but rain has stopped play yet again , and i have had to fiberglass up a hole in a elbow ..Next step is the bracket for the pipe up the A pillar ,then when all that is done make the template for the wing and cut the hole ( the most scary bit of this project)

Ooooh, where did you get those tyres, who makes them, how much, etc...
The insa turbo sahara, 235/85 R16 is £63 (cheapest I've found so far), and comes out at 31.7" tall, just a smiggin larger (and slightly narrower)than my current 31 10.50 R15's BFG's, so should fit fine on the rims, and in the arches...Last edited by AndyLala; 29 May 2006, 15:24.

The tyres are Micky Thompson BAJA Claws . Got them off ebay . You can get them from www.bronco4x4.com but they are not cheap and i don't think i will ever be able to afford another set when these wear outwww.daemon4x4.org

Thought they were... likes the look, didn't like the price.
Have a look at the other images....
Can't find anyone who quotes on the Yokohama Geolanders, although I get they aren't cheap...
How comes they never look as chunky as they do in the images....?

Looking good, Eagerly awaiting the final results!, I'd love a safari snorkel but
cant afford one, Those wheels you got (rims not the tyres) Red iodonised
split rims? are they available as aftermarket or were they a standard surf fitting at some time? There me favorites, been looking for some for ages.Too young to die and too old to give a toss
