In all honesty I doubt whether Quentin saw either the original letter or the reply. It is more likely that some junior scribe working for the paper did a standard piece of research and came up with a standard response.

I'll bet that they just stick Quentins name on the topic to give it credibility and bung him a wedge every month for the privilege.

I did my own research, and lots of it, and then checked this forum, and then did more research. I then scrapped the notion of buying a Fiat 500 and bought the Surf.

i remember quentin wilson being in trouble from max power magazine before. he couldn't see the point of spending 1000's modifying cars as it didn't affect the resale value of a crappy nova!

I have e-mailed the Mirror pointing out Quentin's mis quote of the Surf and have offered that he joins us on our next off road centre day out to see the capabilities of these motors and to really appreciate them first hand.
Lets see if I get a reply.

Still waiting for a reply, will give them to mid way through this week to reply then, then we will see. Will way up me options and decide which one to go for.
