i've got a blue thingy that plugs in a white thing in the phone socket (looks like a spaceship!)

I've got wireless - whole package cost £139 and plugs into one of the standard hub ports on the Broadband router (thats if you have one of the Ethernet connected ones rather than the USB ones which don't have a built in hub. The wireless I got is a netgear one and includes a PCMCIA card for the laptop and a Basestation that connects to my main PC for admin purposes and the Hub / Router for network connection.

Its worth the £140 for the flexibility.

PC World. Think you can get them cheaper than I did now. Got mine about 18 months ago, think you can get them now for less than a ton.
