    Just "won" these on eblag for £56, Tyres are u/s but its the rims i wanted,
    Now all i have to do is get the tyres removed and nitr'o'mor the laquer offand i can take me time polishing em up, New tyres and Roberts your fathers brother!!

    you did well there, i have a set like that to clean up, but mine have a row of fake nuts running round them, and they are the very devil to clean. might end up getting them blasted and sprayed...
    it's in me shed, mate.

          Yeah i bid on some with those bolts (or rivits) and was'nt sure if they are split rims, Cant see any on these so it'll make the polishing a bit easier, I realy
          wanted some deep dish (landcruser) wheels but hav'nt seen any for sale!
          Gonna try and rig a polishing mop on a dremmil drill or my elbow will be dropping off,

            ian the dremel does it ok with solvol on the mops should be a doddle without the nuts!

                Why do tyre places put on those knock on weights, I had a right go at my local place for doing that, they hammer them on and it ficks up the lacquer which lets water in and corrodes the wheels.

                    Yeah those weights are a pain, Damage the laquer and look cr@p, I thought it was possible to ask em to fit them on the inside of the rim so they dont show,
