4runner in for MOT today... IT PASSED!

hate MOT day, it passed last year, but will it pass this year.....

replaced rusted exhaust, torn track rod end, and checked it over,
it might fail on the short bits of metal brake hose between caliper and flexy hose at front...as they are a bit corroded

Mine passed a couple of days ago, although I had just replaced the brakes and two outer cv boots (not to mention the new head a while back!).

thank god it passed!!!

only advisory was short brake pipes at front corroding, he reckoned replace by next MOT, and had smothered them in grease for me. - and i thought it would fail on them.

now i can drink that bottle of champagne i got from Toyota UK for the relay rod recall !!!!, and give the 4runner some more veg as it wont like champagne!

thats 2 MOT i have got it through, it failed 3 yrs in row, when my mate owned it before me!!

and only time i have taken it to a garage is MOT, tracking, wheel balancing and relay rod recall !!! so well chuffed!!
