Replacement Keys?

Hi Guy's - I've been trying to get a spare key cut for the surf recently but I havent had much (any) luck. none of the shops I've tried have the blank keys in stock.

a mate suggested getting a blank key elsewhere and then asking a shop to cut it for me, but im not having much luck sourcing a blank key either.

any ideas?

You could try Toyota but I got one at Timpsons, youre bog standard high street key cutting shoemending place and Im out in the back of beyond ( by that I mean outside of the M25 which I understand you Londoners think is foreign). I really cant beleive youre struggling to get a key, someone must have one.

Yup.....the local key cut while you get your boots heeled kiosk usually does them....

i did manage to get a key from a simpsons but it didnt work when i got it home. i took it back and got them to have another go, but it still didnt work. after that I couldnt be bothered a 3rd time lol! i guess i'll need to visit some more branches then... not many places in the city even do car keys, let alone imports.

The blank you need also available at TIMPSONS is a SILKA - TOY36 Blank

I had a problem with the first key I had cut by the local shoe repair place. You need to make sure they match the blank at the inner shoulder, not at the tip, otherwise it won't work as the key is too long.
