Well got myself a little VW Golf today . 1.3 on a G plate for running to work...
This means i can take the surf apart properly now and sort out some problems that i picked up this weekend
Now i can take the rad out and clean it out properly look for a noise thats happening when i turn right and sort out a solinoide that has no wires going to it any more on the autobox/ transfer unit

I Surpose that this is where the mod junkies start

And i start spending my hard earned monny at 'offroad toys' and other moding sites

      YEP it sure do
, but start simple with a body lift It will give you more room to hide in when the wife finds out how much you are spending.but hey never mind just

Well i got the golf today ....needs a cambelt (much easier than a 2.4 ) and a general service . Now to start the serious work of sorting out my surf . Overtime allowing the first thing i am going for is the 2" coil spacers and the snorkel.....the only question is whee is the best place to get the snorkel

Rather than get a snorkel why not make one? Someone recently posted a brew your own guide which, IMHO, looked better than any of the commercially available ones and cost loads less, which in turn could mean you don't have to work so much overtime, which will free up time to make one and free up cash to spend on bits you can't make.

Sorry. Been watching It's Not Easy Being Green.
