Where can i get a free mp3 converter?

Hi,

I know its off topic, but i need some software to convert wma's etc to mp3's cos the wifes mp3 player is just that, only plays mp3's. I want to put a load of our cd's onto it though, and therefore need to convert the wma files into mp3. I did a search for free converters, but they all have a "free trial period" before you have to pay for it. I just want one that i can download, and use for ever.
