A week in the lakes.

Just spent a week at white cross bay which is half way between windermere and ambleside.Great week with good weather,but what a bunch of miserable surf drivers up there

Everytime a surf came towards us we`d wave and smile, but not even a glance.

Is it because surfs are getting just to popular these days, and not everybody is aware of the proper surf etiquette,ie , at least wave.

I was olso going to mention my personal most miles on a tank record,(289).but after reading the motorway effeciency thread, it does`nt seem that special,usally only get 190-210 miles nipping to and from work and the shops etc

Just got back from the lakes this afternoon. Only saw one other surf, and that was parked up in Keswick. Think it belongs to the guy who has the sarni van,three door wine over grey. If we'd seen ya mate we'd have given you a wave.
