My surfs OK, but Iv'e got problems with the other car.
The Avensis reversing lights don't work. When it's in reverse the engine auto revs, if the front lights are on they pulsate with the engine revs. The battery/alternator light stays on and gets brighter when put in reverse.
All fuses are OK.
Any ideas?

Does this happen when you need to move the Avensis out the way to get the Surf out for the drive into town?. If so, the Avensis has got jealous. Trade it in for another surf!

Could be a short in the reverse switch on the gear lever/gearbox, or in the lights themselves.

Probably more likely to be a bad earth on the alternator!
