So they 'invent' a subsection in the terrorism law so we can't protest about exorbitant fuel prices.

Smacks of communism does that. So anytime anyone protests, they will be arrested under the prevention of terrorism act?. Oh well... onto undeclared veg oil I go.

So Mr Bush has done it again. Every time he rattles his saber at a Middle Eastern country the price of oil hits all time highs and the oil company profits hit all time highs. Odd that Mr Bush is an oil man himself. Seems one hell of a way to give yourself a payrise. Wonder how much derv is in the states?

As a guess, less than 1.50 per gallon.

And whilst on the subject of the good old days.....I can remember putting ten bobs worth of 101 octain in my old Mk1 Cortina, and that would last a couple of days. And even worse...paying one shilling and ten pence for a pint.
Sometimes I forget just how $$$$$$ old I am.

The reason fuel prices have gone sky high is because of an article by some stoopid fecking American journo that said bush is going to bomb the daylights out of the Iranaian nuclear facilities. Bush has denied it, so it must be alright now, mustn't it?

Another thing. How come the yanks know where all the Iranian nuclear research facilities are but they couldn't find any evidence of WMDs in Iraq? Hmmmm

Filled up to the brim at 98.9p yesterday, £57.00!!!

When i we're a lad petrol prices were a glorious 69.9p per litre (i can't compete with you old men as i'm only 24)

Seriously comtemplating running my mobile chip shop soon. Not tried it yet, so might do a bit of research before taking the plunge!

People don't know they're born these days (that really is a stupid phrase if u think about it)!!

still its cheaper than beer and lager and 20 fags a gallon .

we dont see forums full of beer swilling chain smokers yapping on about 2p on a pack of 20 .

its good to see the lads who remember things from the 70's haven't lost their memories though .The old grey matter still serves them well.

Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.
