    BAD NEWS
    $$$$$$ truck failed its MOT due to excess upper ball joint movement
    anti roll bar bushes, BUT the they also failed it on a worn foot brake rubber
    where the hell do i get one of them! milners or roughtrax dont stock them
    and retest on tuesday morning, any ideas

    Toyota dealers will get them, otherwise find a similer size one from a breakers, or failing that make one from a bit of mud flap or rubber mat and glue it on.

      call toyota mate - its what they are there for.

      pnc number 47121

      part number 31321 - 14020 - manual transmission

      possibly 47121 - 12011 - auto transmission.

              It does seem petty, but that's the rules..

              Mine passed, but he did have a good look at the rubber. It had a hole in it, but as it wasn't actually split along the vertical length, he classed it as a pass.

              Apparently, it's checked cos if the rubber was split all down one side, the rubber 'could' shift to one side, and when the brake is applied, it 'could' also apply the accelerator.

              Unlikely, I know, but that's why it's classed as a failure.

              Not sure what would happen if you just took the rubber off completely, tho?!

              Oh yeah, and Roughtrax DO sell replacement go-faster pedal sets, if needed!!!
