I've just had a mate ring me wanting to know if anyone who has a pick-up if it has to be insured for commercial use as his insurerd a told him that is the only way of insuring it.Does anyone know of a insurance company that will insure one for S.D.P use and not commercial use.He wants to use it occassionally for going out shooting but not extreme off-roading any help is apprecciated

Thanks Logey. I rang Adrian Flux and they said the same as you as long as he isnt using it for work (which he wont be as he is a railway maintenance contractor) and they will insure him for private use too.It's just his insurer at the mo is wanting more cash off of him and being awkwardhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

good to know. means i won'tbe swearing down the phone at people when it comes to renewals time. i absolutely detest dealing with insurance company's, probably due to the fact that through the taxi policies that me and my dad have had with them have totalled somewhere in the region of £22,000 in the past 5 years alone. WITH FULL NCD ON ALL OUR CABS!!!!i swear, it was like that when i got here...
