  • Tow Bars - Please don't ignore it !

i have been after a decent towbar but not to tow with !! - i really want it as an alternative to a good recovery point and this seems the easiest way to do it, the last thing i want to do is make the poor departure angle any worse, is a bar available where the hitch part goes up rather than dropping down ?

this one seems to be what i'm after - anyone have one ?

Yes if you have a vectra, because that is what the picture is of, being in the trade i know this bloke, nice bloke. I had one of there bars fitted on mine, unfortunately i dont think you will find a towbar that doesn't have a drop plate, unless you fit a detachable, which i believe you will be able to get from towbarman01 on ebay. If it is any consolation surf towbars fit tight up to the bumper (especially the towequipe bars).
If you need any more info just let me know.

Im sure there are some folks that make recovery hooks in pairs that fit into the ends of the chassis rails. I remember asking this same question and getting the reply. so search and ye shall find.
