been talking to these guys recently as I want to lift my surf.

Has anyone dealt with themand if so how did you get on?

Also would like to kno your opinions of my choice.

13inch suspension lift

4 inch body lift

35inch tyres? maybe a bit bigger

Has anyone done anything similar?

I have delt with LA SUPA TRUCKS although only purchasing bits from them,and to be fair found them expensive. Whilst i was at their place i looked around their workshop, what i saw that they were doing to various hilux pick ups was amazing, after talking to the owner for about an hour who also gave me aguided tour of all his latest projects,i realised that he was as far as i was concerned MR TOYOTA uk. Since then i have been back and spoke with him several times and always found him interesting and extremely knowledgable. To put your mind at rest go and visit and see what they can do to a TOYOTA duds

duds thanks for your thoughts. I also thought they were a bit expensive but they seem a good bunch.

I may well get go over there next week and have a look round.

What do you think to the lift?

I recently got a 2" suspension lift kit from LA Supertrux. (Inc. 2" lifted rear springs, 4 x ES 9000 Gas shocks.., and uprated tortion bars...)
I was delighted with the service - fast and spot on. Will definately use them again... All fitted now and truck handles much better specially off road.

One suggestion... give them a ring rather than buying through the website, worked out cheaper for me.... Might be worth mentioning that you'd heard good things on here about them as I think they do a lot of Toyotas... never know they may be in a discounting mood...

BTW - did you mean 13" susp lift???? Gotta post some pics of that when its done...

yeah it will be a minimum of 13 inch suspension lift plus the body lift. I am looking for a 17 inch lift kit at the moment but I think it will be 13.

should be pretty big.

looking to have work done asap.

Like Linda I fiited the 2" lift kit from LA Supertrux and found the service and kit to be okay. I would recomend this company for any serious lift like you intend as they have years of experience.
