It's a license we display on the front screens of our vehicles just for the priviledge of driving on our so called public highways. Payable every 12 or 6 months. The revenue raised is supposed to go into the up-keep of the road surfaces, but if you've ever driven on British roads, you'd think the Government had spent it on holidays instead!

The roads / carparks in Townsend way retail park currently contain holes so deep they are right through to the mud underneath the roadstone and tarmac! They shake my beast pretty hard so god knows what they feel like in a Fiesta.

ever driven in Malta? they have the occaisional tarmac between potholes.
we saw some road workers making good a pipeline trench - 1 readymix waggon, drives along pumping it in hole - too much muck - road ends up 2-3" high, not even smoothed off with the back of a shovel, still I supose it will wear level in time!!!!! in the mean time bouncy bouncy
Did I mention I have a BLUE one
