I think you should be able to spin all four wheels if they are all on the ground . I can when in 4wd and mines a 2nd gen.
Dif locks do just that, lock the diff so if one wheel on the same axel is off the ground, you've still got drive to the other wheel thats on the ground.Last edited by BUSHWHACKER; 31 March 2006, 12:20.

Oh! I must confess to still being a bit confused about all the lever positions in the surf. It has 2 that light the orange bulb. Does anyone have a definitive guide to the 3rd gen selector?

PS, I noticed the surf in the vid was silver, could this have helped it acheive this feat of strength being as it is, the new best colourI used to have a surf me!

You can't really tell if the far side wheels are spinning anyway, the diff can shunt power back and forth to each side as quick as it likes.
Or the owner has diff locks fitted.
