Info on Gosport

My mate and his wife are going to Gosport at the weekend to look at buying a house, as she has just got a job at Eastleigh

I was just wondering what is like to live Gosport good/bad areas

A mare to get into, a mare to get out of, but nicer if it was cut off from the mainland and floated out to the solent and sunk.

No not that bad. It has its good bits, same as everywhere else. But traffic can be hell at rush hour. Lee on Solent is round the corner. Thats nicer.

Born and bred in Portsmouth, lived close to Gosport, I now live in Devon, no points for guessing why.
Wild horses wouldnt get me back there..... best view of Portsmouth ?.... in your rear view mirror !!

If he is adamant that he wants to go there tell him to get a place as close to fareham as possible.

Eastleigh is better but even that has been going down hill over the past 10 years or so and i am an Eastleigh boy born and bred.
