has anybody though about getting some sort of merchantise advertising this wonderful website like polo shirts or fleeces to show how proud we are of our vehicles and contribtors to this website

Good idea Shaun. They could go in the site shop alongside all the accessories.

Another forum that I frequent do window stickers and large door stickers with proceeds to their adopted charity.

Trouble is most places want a minimum order of 50 or 100 t shirts, mugs, caps etc. So unless I get a 100% order covering that it can't be done. I have to pay for everything from my own pocket, so unless I get enough orders to cover the cost I end up out of pocket.

Not a dig at you Nigel as we have discussed this between us before . Wot I ment woz that it was undisided wot to have and , as you say , the confirmed number for the order . You know I wright one thing and it gets read the wrong way .

if i could find out some pricing on some polo shirts with somthing like www.hiluxsurf.co.uk on the left hand side in black with red writing could you let me have response to see how many people would be interested and what sort of sizes would be required and also who would i need to get permission from to use the name so let me know your interest?

so could we run a poll to see how many people would be interested in this idea and sort out a way of raising the money up front like making cheques out to nigel so when he has enough cheques to make up an order so he would not be out of pocket?

Don't forget postage and packing costs. I would surgest doing the full price research and p&p before you start doing polls etc.

Would it not be a good idea to do some designs that are more general 4x4 orientated and could be put on Ebay to subsidise the Surf 4x4 stuff

I suppose I could do a "generic" Toyota Hilux Surf logo design but It would be better if the site was promoted, do you agree?

I suppose the site owner/admin could buy a load in and the guys could get them from the shop here!

As far as selling them on EBay, Surf owners would buy a generic one but I doubt very much if they would buy a www.hiluxsurf.com one!
