There is a company round the corner from me who do all the boat shirts for the GROTTY YOTTIES , also the Big Horse shows and things like that. The great thing with them is all the items are all individually personalised

If you come up with a logo (The Star!) they will produce the art work and it would be a stitched logo (not transfer), you can then order direct and for a small price you could have your userid sown on as well!

If this is of interest I am more than willing to go and talk to them again and get prices. the problem will be if there is a set up charge! As we can not expect the forum to fund this.

Pops and I both have had T-shirts done by them, and you can have fleeces, rugby shirts, T-shirts in virtually any colour and design you want.

oh yeah! its gotta be xxxl sold as one size fits all! also reduces hassle of having to carry a multitude of sizes and getting lumbered with the less popular sizes

I shall watch this thread with interest. Last time it appeared nobody could agree on whether it should be polo shirts, fleeces, tee shirts, sweatshirts, coveralls, swimming trunks, string vests, or simply a tattoo on naked flesh, after theyd disagreed on that for a thousand postings they then disagreed on whether they should be blue, red, black, green, burgundy over grey, pearlescent silver or mud coloured. Its a great idea but bearing in mind the above, its probably a non starter. A pity but thats life, apart from our choice of transport we are a pretty disparate bunch. ( Note thats not desperate)
We,ll probably have to stick to wearing our Surfs/4 Runners. Lets face theyre are pretty big badges and worn with pride and the only drawback is you cant actually wear it inside the pub. ( Well not easily anyway although I bet someone somewhere will have tried it)
