This Government has actually helped me for the first time since they came to power. We bought a new car last week, well it's two and a half years old to be precise, but because it was manufactured afer March 2001, it's in band 'B' and it only costs £50 per year to tax. Result!

Probably the one and only favour any Government of this country will do for me!!

Just got my renewal through today, it says £170 p/a, has the hike not kicked in yet or what? Completely missed the budget! So not quite sure how it's all gonna work.

It's £175 for 12 months, and £96.25 for 6 months.
