Paintwork Question

Hi guys,

Quick question, is the paintwork on a surf a base colour and lacquer? Reason I ask is my roof looks like it has oxidised (white discolouration) and i was wondering if its worth t cutting back assuming its not lacquered, if not then its timeto hit spectrum bodyworks in Lincoln and treat her to some paint.

Yep, it's a clear coat over the mettalics.
My roof has faded a bit but I cured it by lifting the suspension by 3 inches, now I can't see it.

I understand all Surfs whether mettalic or solid were COB from factory . Whitening will be the laquer breaking down . Only cure is a repaint of effected panels
