  • Some pics of my new toy

It's really here so what better to do than take some pics of the Surf and make all you northern(hemi-sphere) scumbags as you descend into winter. Just got back from a day trip up to Bay of Islands which is an awesome place to see in the flesh, you can just about see some of it in the pics but I was kinda concentrating on capturing the Surf!!

Tried it on the sand yesterday over at Rangitira Beach, All Terrain Tyres....my @rse!!

Thanks for the enthusiastic welcome from you lot, will be a more regular regular from now on , no doubt with some incredibly dumb questions but at least I didn't have to post to ask how to get the spare wheel off!

    Cheers
    Pete

Nice pics, nice place, as much as I like the mud, I'd rather be driving around in just a pair of shorts, with all the windows open.

Hey, Moderators perks! I'm first in the queue!

I'm a qualified auto engineer, factory/mantainance engineer plus van driver!

Only need a little space over there. What you got?

That's not fair, pulling rank on poor lil'ol' (better auto engineer) who needs less room than you

Well if you dont mind sharing the garage with a poxy Galant, the Surf and me ZRX1100 your more than welcome!!

Personally I'd recommend marrying a nice kiwi girl like my lovely Raewyn, only not her as she's mine!!

PS:It was a little nippy last night, went outside for a fag around 1:00am and I DID consider changing my shorts and t'shirt...............

I do agree it is a lovely piece of the country
I'm down in the deep dark depths of the Shore and would like to catch up with another Surf nut.
I have done a few trick to mine already

                              Insane?? No just British!!!

Well it is only about 250k's and it did ONLY take 4 hrs each way(u just cant do quick trips with an 18month old ay?)
SO that left us a whole 2 hrs to stretch, fart, ave a fag(smoke for the paranoid amongst us!) eat some rancid chips and bugger off home again, just like a day out to Brighton really only with nice weather, good scenery and no f@/?$% tw@ts in Union Jack shorts singing lager lager!!

Looking at your mod list, you got too much spare time and too much spare cash!!!lol
