for those lucky enough not to know, constructive dismissal is when an employer hasnt got the gumption or the honesty or the reason to sack someone or make them redundant, they set about making you position untenable. by fair means or foul, they make it impossible for you to do your job. so you tell them to perform a physical impossibility with their job and walk away, saving them redundancy payments, or tricky questions aabout unfair dismissal. trouble is consructive dismissal is illegal and you can have em for compensation. ah, halcyon days...

I'm in property and think very carefully about buying up houses, doing them up and selling them on. It aint as easy as it looks on telly, they never seem to cost in your time or strangely any finance costs. Anyone can do it, they can even sell them for more than they bought them for, making money out of the whole deal is the trick though. At the end of each deal think would you have been better of leaving your money in the bank, not borrowing and working 9-5? Never ever confuse what you are doing cos you want to live there with what is going to turn you the most cash. Homes are for living in enjoy it but dont mix them with investments.

The only way to make money in property is find land, get planning, sell land with planning. Leave it for a builder to make the money on the bit he knows. Trouble is its a risky business if you don't know what your up against you end up with land that you will never get planning for. To be a success most of the money making stuff is "off market" where you get it through contacts etc, not by bidding openly.

Its fun for me, I'm playing with somebody elses money all the time!
