Surf Recall Notice SR60635 steering relay rod

I've just heard about a recall notice on Hilux Surfs issued by Toyota on 27/02/06 on vehicles manufactured between 1993 and 1995.

Apparently under duress the steering relay rod can break with nasty results.

Yeah, its been posted before, all our trucks were OK!

As TonyN said. This has been reported before. If you are unsure about your truck, look at the VIN plate on the bulkhead when you open the bonnet. There shoud be yellow paint next to it, to indicate that it has been done.
