As a man who has(or has had)most of the makes and models of hilux that have left the factory would you know if the pickup chassis is the same width hight lenght etc as the surf? not sure due to the leaf/coil suspension matter, but would be very greatful for any help as a set of very sexy rock-sliders are inbound and the only vehicle that can be used as a template is a modded pickup?

I've got one here leaning up against the shed!

I know my MK1 pickup had a different wheelbase from a 2nd Gen Surf., which would affect the lenght of the slider.

Can measure it tomorrow if you want. I have a MK1 pickup here as well.

That would be spot on going to jump under mine first thing to get the full measurements, Im not sure how old his is but do know it's got leaf's on it . how I wish fuel was cheaper so I could set off and sort it out.
