Recipe for "alternative fuel" or disaster

Morning folks,
Just been surfing around a rather well known internet based auction site, and , call me a mug, but couldn't resist the temptation of buying a "recipe" for alternative fuel for deisel engines.
But for less than a quid - I thought bugga the expense!!
The recipe is basically 98% Kerosene and 2% two stroke oil (for lubrication)
Thinking of giving it a go - any warnings / suggestions.
Now where do I buy large quantities of Kerosene - apart from my local airport???

All I can find......

Just above Diesel fuel in the middle distallate catagory is Kerosene. Like Number 4 Fuel Diesel Fuel, Kerosene has an iqnition quality similar to Numbers 1 and 2 Diesel Fuel. But unlike Number 4 Fuel Diesel Fuel, which is too thick, Kerosene is too thin to work well as an engine fuel. The thickness of the diesel fuel itself acts as a lubricant to prevent wear of the engine's fuel injectors. This lubricating quailty of diesel fuel is why some Oldtimers still refer to it as "Diesel Oil." Adding a common lubricant to Kerosene usually decreases its ignition quality.

Also, remember this.....

3.5 The activity report also highlights the range of sanctions available to Customs when they detected misuse. On the merits and evidence available in each case Customs can:
Seize any vehicles running on red diesel or kerosene
Seize any equipment – such as storage tanks or pumps – used in the evasion of oils duty
Impose financial penalties for instances of misuse
Issue duty assessments to recover duty that has been evaded
Prosecute individuals engaged in the evasion of oils duty
Seize the assets of those engaged in oils fraud and the evasion of duty

You think your onto summat Jaky !! Take a look !!!!
Check out the Oz Surf site, some weird concocktions I can tell you...... Acetone !!!!!!!!!!
There's always a Payback.... You just can't see it Comin !!!!

sorry mate, needed to keep the better half warm, but if you dont take it on the road you can run your tractor on it legaly, down here minimum del'y is 500ltrs.
as a thought, anyone done a svo/kero mix?

What is the difference between kerosene and paraffin??? I thought they were almost the same but one was used for lamps and one for heating oil.
