hes gorgeous, hes bigger than mine fully grown!

mine has a penchant for paper, any paper, he found a cheque in my bag and ate half of it ( hes got a small appetite) and if you leave a news paper on the floor chances are it'll get peed on.

paper training isnt all its cracked up to be. he ate a corner off my boyfriends french driving licence...it wasnt gormet or nouvou cuisine as well as several other paper based items. and now hes 18 months old he hasnt stopped, he just knows how to look guilty afterwards to avoid a telling off.

i had a day from hell about 3 weeks ago, the pup peed and cr@pped all over the house, when she was out she wouldn't come back, chewed 15 quid up, generally was a pain in the.
just as i was about to give her to the next person to walk past, a mate came round who used to train blind dogs for the guides. all we did was call her and if she didnt come straight back, we chucked a soft lead at her. 5 minutes later she became the perfect pet! house trained, obedient, a joy to have! 17 weeks now and raely a cross word. good luck with your pup, and whatever he does, he didn't mean to do it....

toyney, you sure thats not a cat?
                    it's in me shed, mate.

no, the cats bigger than him. tho our cat thinks its a dog, she plays fetch and rolls around on the floor like a dog.

throwing a soft lead, you mean the leash lead, not lead as in piping? i used a clicker to train mine along with chocolate drops and that seems to have worked for the discipline side, as for the house training, well you just have to remember, its not their fault... they dont mean to do it out of spite, i used a method of keeping mine on a lead attached to me or my flat mate at all times in the house, this way it was easy to see when he needed to go out and he was never out of sight. 3/4 weeks of that and he was sorted. ( i think mines a bit stupid, markys dog should be a bit better i think)

Cute pup Mark, hope he doesn't get travel sick in the back of your Surf.

Oh and Toyney why is it you cant house train Chihuaha's there like a tom cat, have to scent everything you put down. Everyone i know with one has the same problem, including us.
