    Hi All

After watching 2 Fast 2 Furious last night i'm on a mission!!

Now I have THE BEST 4x4 (Surf) I want a go fast car as well as a go anywhere car..

I have put some thought into this and decided I want a classic car, somthing like a '69 MG MGB Roadster, or possibly a MG Midget that I am going to tune as much as possible!

It must look Great - Be convertable (removable hard top, or soft top - don't care) and somthing that isn't too dificult to source parts for.

I intend to completly re-do the interior, fit racing seats, ICE, Sat Nav and anything else my bank account will allow me to, I also want to look into the possibility of fitting a turbo and NOS to it. (seems a bit mad I know - but it'd probably be the only one in existence once I'd finished!)

What I'm looking for is suggestions as to other models I should be looking at, (Not american) and any pics of other Mod'd "Classics" you know of.

This is going to be my project for the summer! Hopefully finnished or atleast nearly finished in time for a cruise in the warm weather!

    Suggestions on a postcard below!

        Pwhooorrrrrrr!

A Triumph Stag is a great car to play about with. Looks pretty good too.

Loads of spares for here too: Stag Parts

          Or a nice TR6 or 7

Tony, you're a man after my own heart.

The front end is what makes them look so good!!

I agree with Chillit on that one! Nice car but the wheels are too big... I meant Width rather than diameter!

EDIT: Chillit, I've just read you post properly!! Are you reffering to me being shot or the owner of the yellow one in Vince's Post (or possibly both i suppose!)

Not exactly purple... one of those two tone paint jobs that looks different colours depending on the angle you look at it!

Tony... Might not be your field but.... What kinda problems am i likely to face fitting turbo's and NOS to 30ish year old engines??? theres probably gonna be quite a list here isn't there!

you will need a broom for sweeping up bits of piston and con rod....

And some good life insurance for when i'm trying to fit the NOS

Is it actually possible though.. Surely it gotta be.. Maybe expensive but possible surely?

Otherwise I will Buy a shell and stick a modern engine in it... Would that be a better way to go??
