Had a mini-meet today at Nortrak near Stonehaven (Aberdeen).
only 2 of us!, myself in 4runner and RSAsurfer with his family in surf.
Only 2 other vehicles there today, 3 guys in a jeep cherokee with lots steam coming from engine! and a guy in landrover.
Great place to have a play in mud and do hillclimbs and descents.
My first time proper offroad and very impressed what the 4runner could do.
Got given some instruction first.
and also a ride in a suzuki - now that was fun! what that could do.
only problems are broke glass on one of spots, which hangs underbullbar,
also some hefty dints on the skid-plate, very buckled now..
and got a bit of water through airfilter, as one bombhole water came to top headlights.. I drained water from filter box, and cleaned out pipes and when i got home put a new air filter in
hope engine ok, as exhaust was billowing white for 3 mins after water, but clear now
great place to go - recommened it if in the area for a play and nice cup of Tea too.

glad 4runner christened offroad, but shame about damage, maybe need a stronger skid plate
