surf pick up

saw this surf pick up on ebay, looks quite smart. (see piccy)

Anybody attampted a bobtail surf yet? thinking of taking a grinder to mine, lop off the overhang that keeps beating itself in the ground, as im getting fed with with straightening out the rear bumpers after every off road day.
any info would be great.
