    Is it much of a job to fit A/C to my 4-runner? Has anyone else done it?

    Second questoin I have, the suspention on the 4-runner is alot more bouncy compared to the hard/soft on the surf............. can the hard/soft controls be put on the 4-runner?

      Biggest job is pulling all the dash out to fit the matrix, and running the hoses, and fitting the aircon rad, and......

      As for the shocks, I'd just fit a set of Procomps, the 9000 gas shocks tranformed my Ex's V6 4Runner, and lots less hassle than running wires for all the shocks.

        Tony as per usual is right,
        The standard shocks on the 4 runner are not very good and probably are the original ones so need replacing.
        A lot of people here have removed the adjustible ones anyway and gone for standard ones.
        The cheap and very good for their price are the procomp ones and then you can keep going all the way up to x-raids or omes if you have the money, I have the x-raids and they are very good but at about 300 quid (i think it was over a year ago) they are very expensive.
        I still want to firm up my front end a bit more so was thniking about changing to polybushes all round too.

          roughtrax do non adjustable shocks oil or gas . After some serious playing i wonder if i should have got gas ones
