  • Filming in Beaconsfield

Went through Beaconsfield this morning and saw a film crew filming outside a music shop. They had all the gear including those rail tracks for moving cameras and loads of lights etc.

The other driver from my depot I was following said when we got back that he recognised one of the actors, who is in that Midsummer Murders programme. Anyone else see it?

The Midsommer Murders crew were filming in the Trout pub in Wolvercote recently, so it would be probable that they didn't move far to find a music shop.

I also say Beeeeeeeeaconsfield. I got lost their looking for the cinema in High Wycombe once. Wasn't paying attention and stayed on the M40 too long. Thank god for GPS...

There is a follow up to Morse , a bit like Taggart . The main actor has died but the rest of the cast still want to work . I think it called 'Lewis' instead of Morse . Original , eh ?
Both Morse and Midsommer were filmed Oxford area. Tam's mum used to see them filming alot round 'her' village .

Try driving down to North Kent and asking the way to Trottiscliffe, and hear the locals sniggering

The council have changed some of the road signs to read "Trosley" now, which rather spoils the fun...
