SILLY wiring question !!!

Folks,

I have got my mitts on an LED light that needs wiring in - can LEDs be wired in either direction or must they be wired specifically positive to positive......

Item is 8027390400 on ebay - and yes it cost an arm and a leg before postage was added !!!

Reason for asking - would prefer if I could connect it without resorting to "which one of you buggers is the +" syndrome

They will only work one way, you won't harm them if you connect the wrong way.

NEXT silly question...on a ciggy lighter is positive the centre pin or the sides ?
