  • Turbo Light

    Hi All

I've read a lot about turbo lights on here.

The question I want to ask and understand is when does the turbo light come on??(When I switch the BEAST on and when else?) How do I know wether it is functioning properly?

Thanks Again for all the help out here guys.

The light should come on at around 18000 rpm, and you should be able to hear the turbo whistle.

At 18000 RPM your engine would fly apart. 1800 would be more likely!!

Ref the original question, the turbo light only works as such on the 2.4L. The 3.0L doesn't have one, only the engine check light.
