How do you remove the middle bit, you know the cup shaped thing in the middle of the wheel nuts? I was just thinking in case I ever need to use the spare wheel as I dont think a wrench could get in with that thing on. Can it be unscrewed by hand?

Just grasp tightly and pull!

cant get mine off unless I have the wheel off then I can pop them out but then there is no point once its off! I use the standard toyota wrench and it fits ok.,Tim

They never seem to have any trouble, Only had two on mine and have put some stainless ones on from 4x4, They fit from the back of the wheel (with
bit of fileing) so scroats cant nick em, Got two spares going if anyones
short!

just been reading your thread, which 4x4 supplier did you get your wheel centres from?, been looking for some for ages.
