Will it start and run

Hi, Wondering, Will the truck start and run with the instrument panel
removed, Apart from the obvious, driving with no speedo and panel lights,
Need to know if it's going to be off the road while i work on the panel or can
i chance the odd short trip shopping etc? ithankyou
