Oil pressure poll

I wondered whether we might be able to have a little poll on oil gauges as I'm a little concerned that mine on me 30.lt is a bit on the low side.
Ive attached a pic of gauge at first starting and will attach another on a different thread later today 20 mins into my journey when shes warmed up.
The oil level at dipstick is perfect and oil been in there 4 about 3,000 miles.
Your probably all thinking this guy needs to go back to work!!!

It looks normal to me! They dont seam to go above 1/2 way.

Its not great, but still within the specs. Ours has stayed the same for over a year now, but it used to be more like the pic above but its not geting any worse and the motor is smooth and quiet still (for a diesel!) so I'll leave it be for now.

If I was buying the truck, I would use it as a point to knock them down a bit.

Ours gets better for a while with new oil, so I think its just general wear in the motor. Try a new sender if it dives suddenly, otherwise the oil pump is suspect and after that it'll be engine rebuild time.

Thats great pressure for at idle. Don't worry about it.

I reckon its about as accurate as the temp guage and fuel guage

Hey..........I ain't worried no more! Were your vehicles pics taken when they were stone cold? mine was. It hovers at lower end of middle when warm.

Mine runs at half way from cold and while driving (hot), Drops very slightly
at idle (hot), so think its OK, Do intend to fit a oil pres gauge so i can see
exactly what press its running at,
