Has anyone used scorpion racing?? I found a thread for a snorkel and after a few replies to my query online a forum member pointed me in thier direction (not blaming anyone here tho) I bought one for £240.00. paid for by switch and expected it last wed/thur. No show, rang them on sat and they told me they would get back to me. By 6pm tonite (monday) still no call so i rang them and apparently they don't know where it is or when im gonna get it, I'm in Northern Ireland and gettin a bit freaked are they ok??

Or do i have to send the boys with the woolly faces to sort it out

they're quite well known and have big ads in the mags... so shouldn't worry too much... it should turn up sometime.

just what I was gonna say, they are a well known firm and always see their ads. I've not used them myself but I think my dad has.

roger that cheers, they just appear quite disorganised. Tempted to bin the snorkel idea and go for a lift kit instead.

Very impatient child me, when i buy something i want it yesterday.

I tried to deal with these people sometime ago, found them to be ill informed, eratic, dis organised and finally ..... plain rude.
Would not recommend them to anyone for anything, they produce very slick adverts but employ complete morons to man the phones, with a total lack of technical know how.
              Utterly useless.

that would have probably been me that pointed you in there direction.

sorry to hear about your problems.

when i got my snorkel a few weeks ago from them i had no problems what so ever.

i checked the part number with a few other forum members that had already fitted one, phoned them with it and postage only took a few days.

did they say if they had it in stock? that was the first thing i checked with them, because like yourself i cant stand waiting on things.

                  cheers scotty

I think they supplied a lot of stuff for the TV prog A 4x4 is born, so they must be fairly reputable.

That shows a touching faith doesn't it!

Rang scorpion yesterday who promised it was to be delivered today by parcelforce, and guess what no parcel = no snorkel. again scorpion where to ring me today to confirm snorkel would be delivered and again they let me down. Why do people say they will ring you when they never do??? that really pi88es me off , Just of the phone and they have promised a full refund so if anyone wants a snorkel they have one. They don't know where it is but they have it!!

I dealt with them once about 10 or 12 years ago, getting Vitara rims for a Lada Niva, found them very informative and helpful. I was in Lytham St Annes for a week and when their courier failed to deliver them to me on time (due to arrive on the Friday and I left on the Saturday), they immediately arranged for them to be sent to Dublin for me at no additional charge or hassle, had them the following week.
