  • A Damn good battery

I am using my surf in the mountains this winter, so I need a good battery. I had a new one fitted in the summer, but I have already noticed it is a bit weak on cold mornings, and thats in England, what would it do under 4 ft of snow..make me walk I bet..lol
    Any ideas guys..
Keep it greasey so it'll go down easy...

Go for Lucas, Bosch or Varta. The Army and the trucks at my firm use Varta batteries. Put the names in Google and you will get all the information you need.

or fit a second battery if you don't already have one...

it's easy, there's a space for it already.

              2nd

I would ideally like to have a second battery, I didn't know there was room for 2, how do they connect up?

either directly or you can have a split charge relay...

                  2nd battery

Can't see where the 2nd battery fits, certainly no room under the bonnet

                      2nd battery

Yeah the alarm is where the other battery would go. Spoke to steveo about it while he was fitting me a new head he said I could probably get another battery that can throw out a bit more power.
