Watch out for the A76 on your way home, there have been 3 fatalities on that road within 3 weeks and there is currently a campaign running to have this very dangerous road upgraded.

          fuel economy....not!

          Hi all
after tramping north..up with an aerodynamic brick on tow, 'high speed crusing'.....dont ask!! and returning not towing just towing it..even more dont ask!! I actually returned circa 20.5 MPG which concidering the trajectory speed I am well pleased with....what I did find out was that at an indicated 89 mph the citroen with the digi speedo gave 81, but got fed up with that so left them behind....2 questions
          1. does that also mead that my counter will be the same % amount out ?
          2. does putting the speedo needle up against the trip reset button do it any harm ?
out of interest, slightly more mpg and speed on bio/veg than dino, but the pong of 'biofuel' not very nice .....veg much nicer ...and over 1100 miles round trip and only saw 1 other Surf - miserable git didn't wave either!!!!!!!!
