Least liked car drivers (Poll)

A couple of things wind me up. Three lorries on the four lane section of the motorway. One doing 53. One doing 54 and the other doing 55, leaving one lane for all the faster traffic to filter into - what's that all about?

The other is the tw*t who comes down the slip road at a zillion miles an hour, has to be in the outside lane within three car lengths - even if it means taking the front off two cars and sitting on the arse of somebody who is already breaking the speed limit by a good margin.

And just for good measure, the one who comes down the slip road at 45MPH, in excellent visibility, joins the carriageway at 45MPH, when everyone is doing a perfectly legal 70 MPH in lane 1 and stays at 45 MPH causing a scramble to overtake or slam on thier brakes. Grrrrrrrrrr!

That's just three of the couple of things that wind me up.

We get loads of them in south Wales, Tw**s who leave their rear fog lights on two days after the fog has cleared. They can be really dazzling especially when the roads are wet. If I'm behind them, I just flick the full beams on 'till they get the hint, or sometimes they pull over and let me pass, which is amusing.
Also, people who sit at the traffic lights with their foot on the brake pedal, and they have really bright high level brake lights, again I engage full beam and stop behind them just to their offside so I'm blinding them with their mirrors 'till the brake lights go out.

what about auto drivers as many Surf owners are??

the worst thing about drivers is the ones who crash on the M1 EVERY DAY!!!!
if a tire pops on a lorry thats one thing but most crashes are about speed
never thought i would ever want this before i worked in transport, but a 50 mph limit with cameras every half mile beetween j1 and 13 of the M1 would save a lot of time greenhouse gasses and lives!!!!

I've given up hating one type of driver....i just hate them all now! All except fellow surf drivers that is!!
Some people make me laugh,yea,maybe i do drive too close to the car in front sometimes and the car brake tests me,.....not a good idea when i'm pulling 44 tonnes! MUPPETS!!!!

What gets peoples goat up regarding other drivers?

At the moment I have a great dislike for Audi & BMW drivers of either sex who constantly drive 2" off my rear end when I am driving at the speed limit, then make a point of over taking in the most inapropriate places, just because they can Grrrrrr.

Once upon a time it was coffin dodger Sunday Driver Volvo owners who were the skirge of normal curteous motorists but the bl00dy AUDI & BMW drivers in there ****py German go faster saloons who don't give a damn about anyone else on the road are really getting on my goat at the moment.

Merc Drivers should also be included......especially the amout of Audi/BMW and Merc drivers who think a coned off lane is personally for them until they get right to the cones closing off the lane totally and suddenly slam their anchors on to force their way into the correct lane...

The ignorant gits who try to tear past my horse at 60 mph tooting their horn on a single carriageway 20 mph road. Then look really ****ed off when they hit my stirrup iron and dent their paintwork......

Fortunately they are the minority and most have more respect, which I return by keeping my mare to the edge of the road and getting out of their way as much as possible. oh yeah - I also pay rather a lot of road tax........

And no I'm not offended - there are two sides to every grievance....

The drivers I dislike encountering most are those practicaly asleep or pre-occupied at the wheel. Last minute breaking, and not reading the road ahead, the muppets that brake halfway round a bend, twerps that think overtaking on a blind bend is a great idea, tailgaters (you would think the steel bumper and towbar would have some effect!), Lane hogs, muppets in little tin boxes that would rather die in an attempts to get ahead of my car, than sit behind for another 30 seconds, Mopeds full stop, cyclists in the middle of dual carridgeways, inconsiderate inconsistent drivers, and the list just keeps growing, infact the only drivers i like are felow Surf drivers, as they wave to me and smile

If only there was a little more cammiradary on the roads.............

LINDA... do you have to have some kind of horsey insurance??... just wondered after being in Lambourne once and a racehorse (jumpy anyway) tried getting into the back of my lorry!...

i don't think racehorses should be allowed on the road, they're SOO jumpy and even driving slow and quiet they'll be up on their back legs.



And... my sisted has an Audi and her Husband has a BMW!!... he's not bad, but she's a $hite driver!!!

I think you are being very unfair to BMW drivers. Driving round the road to hell everyday (M25).
What impresses me the most about them are the unusual shapes they make out of their cars when they have rear ended someone or lost a quick round of "my lane" with a 40 tonne truck
always makes me smile even if they have held me up for ages

Old people annoy me. On me way 2 th gym 2day an old woman pulled out in front of me causin me 2 stamp on th brake. Then sh waved as if id let her out. Said a lot of 4 letter words in her direction. Then on th way bak an old man in a yaris decided 2 drive round stanley at half 4 with no lights on n pull out in front of a bus on a round about. Mite jack th truck up a bit so i can run over there cars.

Pretty much the cause of most traffic on the motorways that.

People who dont say thanks also annoy me. I dont mind if they havent seen me waiting as I do sometimes but when they stare at you in the face as if you've just killed thier dog, not done them a favour it gets a bit tedious.
