What gets peoples goat up regarding other drivers?

At the moment I have a great dislike for Audi & BMW drivers of either sex who constantly drive 2" off my rear end when I am driving at the speed limit, then make a point of over taking in the most inapropriate places, just because they can Grrrrrr.

Once upon a time it was coffin dodger Sunday Driver Volvo owners who were the skirge of normal curteous motorists but the bl00dy AUDI & BMW drivers in there ****py German go faster saloons who don't give a damn about anyone else on the road are really getting on my goat at the moment.

i like audi and bmw,i think there great cars!!i do agree to some extent that probably 7/10 bm drivers do tailgate.coffin dodgers and boy racers especially the ones on scooters wind me right up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! i keep a golf club on the back seat for them.for negotiating.

you missed out the people that only look in the mirror when they're 2ft from the end of the slip road.

the ones that come down the sliproad and have to get in front, even though there's 2 miles of empty road behind.

etc. etc. etc.

Don't mean to offend anyone here, but people riding horses, especially 2 abreast, expecting me to slow down and go past really quitely. Only for me to loose control on a steaming pile of ****e they just left on the inside of the next bend! le ving horse **** on my nice clean car, and my **** in my pants!

They don't even pay road tax or insurance!

i find the best way to deal with these tailgaters is to constantly vary your speed, dabbing the brakes and then accelerate. It does nothing to stop them - but my god does this wind them up!!!
When i'm in the outside lane behind a long queue of traffic, and the moron behind tries to get me to move over by trying to see along my offside then nearside repeatedly - I do the same thing - only with fat A/Ts on, they seem to rip up all the dust and grit in the farside gutter which unfortunately pebble dashes the morons BMW/Audi bonnet. They sharp back off!!!

Saying all that - I am normally a very curtious and considerate road user especially to the big boys who use the road for a living.

what about the fit horse riders??surely its worth slowing down just to perve.what happens when u drive past them really fast??

I cant complain about scooter riders with noisy pipes as I used to be one although i still used my brains unlike most who seem to have removed them!
Chavs are fine unless they decide to be silly...
Caravan towers are also fine but ANYONE who stays in the middle lane fo no reason does my head in!!! especially if im towing and not supposed to use the outside lane and cant overtake!! Part of the reason ive just fitted 2 x 100w spots on the front aimed at rear view mirrors.
Taxis can be annoying but you get used to them round here and BMW and AUDI drivers think they may own the road but Surfs are much bigger so they dont

and people who pull out infront of you, making you brake, and then drive at 25 mph for miles..
or lorries so overloaded they virtually stop at the first sign of a hill and stick the place out with burning clutch fumes
people who park on a bend or junction to save a few steps.
buses.
taxis.
people who 'thruppeny bit' a roundabout because they are on the phone.
people who dont dip their lights(oncoming traffic, and following behind you)
tractors leaving filth all over the road.
pedestrians with suicidal tendencies

People who leave there fog lights on If I've been following you for the last two miles there's a good chance I 've seen you - I might not see your brake lights because of the glare- Oh well it doesen't take long to get the bits of plastic bumper out of my tyre treads.

on another note pretty much most lorry drivers are nice to me when towing and make my jouney much nicer as they actually consider you.

Middle lane owners club Death is too good for them, just because there is a HGV 4 miles in front is no reason to sit in the middle lane!

I want to be able to pull them over and just rip up their lience!!!

After that it's HGVs taking 2 weeks to over take the vehicle in front. (and yes I know its all 'Maggies fault" for making you drive at the same speed) but I don't like the idea of some spanish a***hole living on proplus hammering it down the same road that I'm using!

Gotta be tailgaters for me - personally I don't care if anyone wants to go as fast or faster than me but either overtake (pref somewhere sensible) or back off. Had some prat the other week who was stupidly close to me on a b road - I left it for a bit but he was really up behind me in slower parts and 60mph bits, in the end I started slowing down but he didn't take the hint, in the end I just slowed down and stopped! He eventually went around me.
