  • Noddy first question

    Hi,

I am looking to buy a surf, around the 93 mark and was wondering what sort of mpg is reasonable to expect from the 2.4 or 3.0td's. Also are there any models to avoid like the plague?

    Thanks in advance

    Simon

im a bit new here,so the other guys really no the ins and outs, ive owned a 3.0 for a year now and nothings failed on it.id avoid the 2.4s as they have cooling probs some may dissagree but this is what i was advised by a guy with mucho no how,the administator.its toyota they are not known for going wrong.average fuel 25 to the gallon, ive started using veggie oil today to cut my fuel bills down.and save the earth.

oh and by the way mines for sale, and its the higest spec!!check out the link and see what u think, ive taken it off ebay.

if you expect 10 to the gallon you will be pleasantly surprised
