Just bought some new bulbs but am now thinking a new loom may help with some brightness too BUT i am colour blind and therefore have never got involved in electrics - is the loom as easy to fit as this thread says it is ie plug and play or do i need some electrical knowlege and do i need any other bits and pieces, fuses etc.

pretty straight forward, all plug and play.A couple of earth wires to bolt down and lives to connect to battery, simple enough.I just moved the batteries back, fed the loom across, then connected it all up.Half hour job that makes a lot of difference.
Also, roger brown, excellent service.....4 days from the USA! I've waited longer for
                some stuff in the UK!

Got my wiring kit just before Christmas and just got round to fitting it yesterday along with a pair of 80/100w lamps.
Fitting was dead easy the hardest part was getting the air intake box back on.
Here's a few pics of the install and the finished results.
Not got round to taking it out in the dark yet but initial results are excellent.

but now just spent 15mins putting some 5800K ultra white xenon lamps in and WOW what a difference again
                    and that in daylight
cant wait till god turns lights out later
