Vege / Derv Mix?
I've been reading loads of threads about running a vege oil and Diesel mix in my truck, and am finally deciding to give it a go.
However, I am not sure whether I need to make any mods to my engine or can I just bung the veg in and top up with diesel?
I would only be running vege on long trips at a mix of at the most 60/40 veg/derv.
Can anyone tell me whether I can run this mix without making any alterations to my engine? Has anyone experienced any problems with a mix?
Most threads say I should change the filter, but would that be before or after I've started using the mix?
What form would I need to fill in for HM customs?
Sorry for all the questions, but I don't want to destroy my beloved car for the sake of saving the planet and a few bob.
