Thanks guys but I'm not looking to spend too much money (basically we don't have much - I'm doing some work for the UN but they don't have a reputation for being very swift paying their invoices). I probably top out at 1K so that's why I'm looking at "older" and more buggered vehicles. Nice trucks though and goodluck with your sales.

PS: Might be able to spring a bit more for a 3.0 TD manual though as I can strip it for spares when we've finished. Not too worried about the colour either although I am partial to black!

Well the nearest I have seen is a 2.4 Manual - maybe it's worth you taking another look at Dunno's.

But seriously, I will have about a grand to spend on a car when I get home. Do you guys trust buying a vehicle off Ebay?

Hiya Bud, If your thinking about buying off Ebay, you have to make as many checks as poss, ie feedback, sales % ie 98%, ask questions, if its a genuine seller you,ll get fairly straight answers.
I have used Ebay for a few years without problems, just remember "caveat emptor" I,ll catcth them when the wind changes!

Well saw a red (Ugh!) '94 4Runner for £940 the other day, so was hoping there might be another steal by the time I get home (28th Dec). As you say "Buyer beware!". Cheers mate!
