can anybody tell me how to play these "putfile" clips??
I've often tried to play these from other posts - but cannot find a download or play button.

Yeh my laptop says I need a plugin to view and then says "can't find plugin to use"

I couldnt play them either untill I downloaded the windows media player 7 from micro soft up dates then it worked.How it worked I have no idea but it did.

Media player 9 on the laptop , can't load 10 on Win 98 SE.
Started using Firefox as they tell you all the plugins you need whereas IE dont tell you zip, but still no joy.
Just have to get off my ass and go to the desktop.

I can play random files - but cannot find a button that says PLAY THIS CLIP or PLAY CURRENT . it's obviously something simple i'm not doing?

sure you're waiting long enough for it?

watch the status bar and after it says - Buffering 100% then it will start!
