Hi Guys... Does ANYONE have this type of wheel fitted to their truck??

Preferably siver or white, but I'd love to see pictures of them fitted, please?!?!?

I'm in the middle of buying new tyres, and am thinking that my wheels are looking a bit tired, so possibly changing them aswell, but alloys are expensive, and I quite like the look of these Weller (I think) wheels. A mate has them on his 90 Land Rover, and they look great.

Come on peeps, Show me your wheels!!!!!

Those are Weller 8 spoke type... when I fitted some to my Rangey I had them shot blasted from new and colour coded in powder coat. ( see pic ).
But I prefer alloys... quieter..... plus you can have them shot blasted, polished and pearlescent laquered.

They don't 'clang' when you hit the kerb!

I think he ment to say lighter, steel wheels are heavy, less rolling and unsprung weight means nicer handling. But there very little in it.

Mr Fatfires in Tavistock..... re your question, I can get steel wheels shot blasted and powder coated any colour you like for £18/ wheel.
Alloys, blasted and polished and laquered are mega bucks due to the labour, if you are seriously interested I will get you a quote, but, they are done at two seperate places, ie blasted and polished then sent away for laquering.

Re.. the point about alloys being quieter, the general concencus is that steel wheels are noisier than alloy as the alloy is thicker, less dense and seems to absorb more rumble than the steel wheel. When i changed from alloys to steel on the rangey it was very noticeable and regretted doing it.
