The Telegraph also reported today that four Siberian Chipmunks are on the loose on the Hampshire/ Berkshire border and that DEFRA say they pose a threat to the ecosystem if they survive. Thirty chipmunks escaped in May and 26 have so far died, or been shot or trapped.

i saw something strange tonight (on the county border, but a little away from the country park)... it was like a cat but a tad bigger, more like a dog build and had a long tail (bushier than a cat) with rings and big pointy ears!!... probably some kind of ferral cat... but i did see a dead wallaby on the side of the A329(M) near bracknell a while back!!
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

there are mink roaming around where i fish, some kind soul liberated them from a local animal testing place, and so now we are having to very humanily kill them with lumps of wood and air guns. these things are destroying the local wildlife.
